Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Purush Shakti (operated by Jeet Gosawmi, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India) collects, uses, stores, and protects your information when you use our mobile application Purush Shakti — પુરુષ શક્તિ (the "App") and our website at purushshakti.app.

We are committed to protecting your privacy under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011. By using the App, you consent to the practices described below.

1. Who We Are

The App is owned and operated by Jeet Gosawmi, a sole proprietor located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. We function as the Data Fiduciary as defined under the DPDP Act, 2023.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

• Anonymous user identifier: A randomly generated UUID created when you first open the App.
• Optional contact details: Phone number, email address, and display name — only if you choose to provide them for subscription management or cross-device sync.
• Onboarding quiz answers: Age range, relationship status, goals, lifestyle factors (smoking, alcohol, sleep) — used to personalize content. You may skip any question.
• Promoter codes: If you enter a promoter or referral code.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Device information: Device model, operating system version, app version, language preference.
• Usage data: Features you use, screens you view, exercise completion, streak data — to provide the service and improve it.
• Crash reports: Diagnostic data when the App crashes, with no personal identifiers attached.

2.3 Information from Third Parties

• Payment information: When you subscribe, our payment processor Razorpay collects your payment method details. We do not store your card number, CVV, or bank account number. We only receive a confirmation that payment was successful and a non-sensitive transaction ID.
• Play Store / App Store data: If you subscribe via Google Play or Apple, the respective store provides us with a subscription status and renewal date.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide the App's wellness, exercise, and educational content.
• To personalize content based on your quiz answers and progress.
• To process subscription payments and prevent fraud.
• To send push notifications (you can disable these in device settings).
• To respond to support requests sent to us.
• To detect and prevent misuse, security incidents, and policy violations.
• To comply with legal obligations under Indian law.
• To improve the App through aggregated, anonymous analytics.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We use the following third-party services to operate the App. Each of them processes data on our behalf and is contractually bound to protect it:

• Supabase (database, authentication, file storage) — data hosted in the European Union (Frankfurt region).
• Razorpay (payment processing) — India-based, RBI-licensed payment aggregator.
• Cloudflare R2 (content delivery for videos, images, and audio).
• Google Play (subscription billing where applicable).
• Expo / Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (push notifications).
• Sarvam AI / ElevenLabs (text-to-speech for Gujarati voice content — no personal data is sent, only the script text).

We do not sell your personal information to anyone, ever.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We share your information only in these limited circumstances:

• With the third-party providers listed above, strictly to operate the App.
• When required by Indian law, court order, or government request.
• To protect our legal rights or prevent fraud or abuse.
• In a business transfer (e.g. acquisition) — with notice to you.

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable security practices in line with ISO 27001 standards:

• All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256).
• Row-Level Security (RLS) ensures your data is accessible only to you.
• Access to backend systems is limited to authorized personnel.
• We monitor for unauthorized access and respond to incidents promptly.

However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but commit to notifying you of any data breach affecting you within 72 hours, as required under the DPDP Act.

7. Your Rights Under the DPDP Act, 2023

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Right to access: Request a summary of the personal data we hold about you.
• Right to correction and erasure: Request correction, completion, updating, or erasure of your personal data.
• Right of grievance redressal: Lodge a complaint with our Grievance Officer (contact below).
• Right to nominate: Nominate another individual to exercise these rights in case of your death or incapacity.
• Right to withdraw consent: Withdraw any previously given consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing done before withdrawal.

To exercise these rights, email us at the address in section 12. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Data Retention

• Active accounts: Data is retained while your account is active.
• Anonymous accounts inactive 30+ days: Automatically purged.
• Paid subscriptions: Retained for 7 years from your last transaction, as required under the Income Tax Act, 1961.
• Account deletion request: Personal data deleted within 30 days, except where law requires us to retain it.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is rated 17+ (Mature) and is intended only for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us data, please contact us so we can delete it.

10. International Data Transfers

Some of our service providers (e.g. Supabase) store data on servers located outside India, including in the European Union. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and equivalent safeguards to ensure your data receives the same protection abroad as it does in India.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by email at least 7 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of the App after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

12. Contact and Grievance Officer

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India established under the DPDP Act, 2023.

આ ગોપનીયતા નીતિ સમજાવે છે કે પુરુષ શક્તિ (જીત ગોસ્વામી દ્વારા સંચાલિત, અમદાવાદ, ગુજરાત, ભારત) અમારી મોબાઇલ એપ્લિકેશન પુરુષ શક્તિ અને purushshakti.app વેબસાઇટના ઉપયોગ વખતે તમારી માહિતી કેવી રીતે એકઠી, ઉપયોગ, સંગ્રહિત અને સુરક્ષિત કરે છે.

અમે ભારતના ડિજિટલ પર્સનલ ડેટા પ્રોટેક્શન એક્ટ, ૨૦૨૩ હેઠળ તમારી ગોપનીયતા સુરક્ષિત રાખવા માટે પ્રતિબદ્ધ છીએ. એપ્લિકેશનનો ઉપયોગ કરીને, તમે નીચે વર્ણવેલ પ્રથાઓ માટે સંમતિ આપો છો.

૧. અમે કોણ છીએ

આ એપ્લિકેશન જીત ગોસ્વામી (અમદાવાદ, ગુજરાત) દ્વારા માલિક અને સંચાલિત છે. DPDP એક્ટ ૨૦૨૩ હેઠળ અમે "ડેટા ફિડ્યુશિયરી" તરીકે કાર્ય કરીએ છીએ.

૨. અમે કયો ડેટા એકઠો કરીએ છીએ

૨.૧ તમે જે માહિતી આપો છો

• એપ પ્રથમ વખત ખોલતી વખતે બનતો અનામી યુઝર ID (UUID).
• વૈકલ્પિક સંપર્ક માહિતી: ફોન નંબર, ઇમેઇલ, નામ — માત્ર જો તમે subscription management માટે આપો.
• Onboarding quiz ના જવાબો: ઉંમર, સંબંધ સ્થિતિ, લક્ષ્યો, જીવનશૈલી — content ને વ્યક્તિગત બનાવવા માટે. કોઈ પ્રશ્ન છોડી શકો છો.
• Promoter / referral codes — જો તમે વાપરો.

૨.૨ આપોઆપ એકઠી થતી માહિતી

• ડિવાઇસ માહિતી: ડિવાઇસ મોડેલ, OS વર્ઝન, એપ વર્ઝન, ભાષા preference.
• ઉપયોગ ડેટા: તમે કયા features વાપરો છો, કસરત પૂર્ણતા, streak data.
• Crash reports: કોઈ વ્યક્તિગત ઓળખ વગર.

૨.૩ ત્રીજી પક્ષ પાસેથી માહિતી

• Payment માહિતી: Razorpay તમારી payment વિગતો એકત્ર કરે છે. અમે કાર્ડ નંબર, CVV, અથવા બેંક એકાઉન્ટ નંબર સંગ્રહિત કરતા નથી. અમને માત્ર transaction ID અને payment status મળે છે.
• Play Store / App Store: Subscription status અને renewal તારીખ.

૩. અમે માહિતીનો કેવી રીતે ઉપયોગ કરીએ છીએ

• એપની wellness, કસરત, અને શૈક્ષણિક content પ્રદાન કરવા માટે
• Quiz જવાબો ના આધારે content વ્યક્તિગત કરવા
• Subscription payments process કરવા અને fraud અટકાવવા
• Push notifications મોકલવા (device settings માં બંધ કરી શકો)
• Support requests નો જવાબ આપવા
• દુરુપયોગ અને સુરક્ષા સંબંધી ઘટનાઓ શોધવા
• ભારતીય કાયદાનું પાલન કરવા
• Aggregated, અનામી analytics થી એપને બહેતર બનાવવા

૪. ત્રીજી પક્ષ સેવા પ્રદાતાઓ

અમે નીચેની third-party સેવાઓનો ઉપયોગ કરીએ છીએ. દરેક અમારી તરફથી ડેટા process કરે છે અને કરારથી તેને સુરક્ષિત રાખવા બંધાયેલ છે:

• Supabase — Database, authentication, storage. યુરોપિયન યુનિયન (Frankfurt) માં હોસ્ટ.
• Razorpay — Payment processing, RBI-licensed.
• Cloudflare R2 — Videos, images, audio delivery.
• Google Play — Subscription billing.
• Expo / Firebase Cloud Messaging — Push notifications.
• Sarvam AI / ElevenLabs — Gujarati voice generation (કોઈ વ્યક્તિગત ડેટા મોકલવામાં આવતો નથી).

અમે તમારી વ્યક્તિગત માહિતી ક્યારેય કોઈને વેચતા નથી.

૫. ડેટા શેરિંગ

અમે તમારી માહિતી માત્ર નીચેની મર્યાદિત પરિસ્થિતિઓમાં શેર કરીએ છીએ:

• ઉપર સૂચિબદ્ધ third-party providers સાથે, એપ ચલાવવા માટે
• ભારતીય કાયદો, કોર્ટ ઓર્ડર, અથવા સરકારી માંગ હેઠળ જરૂરી હોય ત્યારે
• અમારા કાનૂની અધિકારો સુરક્ષિત રાખવા અથવા fraud અટકાવવા
• Business transfer (દા.ત. acquisition) માં — તમને નોટિસ આપીને

૬. ડેટા સુરક્ષા

• બધો ડેટા transit માં (TLS 1.3) અને at rest (AES-256) એન્ક્રિપ્ટ થયેલો છે
• Row-Level Security (RLS) તમારો ડેટા માત્ર તમારા માટે accessible બનાવે છે
• Backend systems ની ઍક્સેસ authorized વ્યક્તિઓ સુધી મર્યાદિત
• કોઈપણ ડેટા breach ની જાણ ૭૨ કલાકમાં કરવામાં આવશે, DPDP એક્ટ મુજબ

૭. DPDP એક્ટ ૨૦૨૩ હેઠળ તમારા અધિકારો

• ઍક્સેસ નો અધિકાર: તમારા વિશે અમારી પાસેનો ડેટા જોવાનો.
• સુધારણા અને ભૂંસવાનો અધિકાર: ડેટા સુધારવા, અપડેટ, અથવા ભૂંસવા.
• ફરિયાદ નિવારણ: Grievance Officer ને ફરિયાદ કરવાનો.
• નામાંકન નો અધિકાર: તમારા મૃત્યુ / અસમર્થતા ની સ્થિતિમાં બીજાને nominate કરવાનો.
• સંમતિ પાછી લેવાનો અધિકાર: ગમે ત્યારે previous સંમતિ withdraw કરી શકો.

આ અધિકારોનો ઉપયોગ કરવા માટે કલમ ૧૨ માં આપેલા ઇમેઇલ પર સંપર્ક કરો. ૩૦ દિવસમાં જવાબ મળશે.

૮. ડેટા જાળવણી

• Active accounts: Account active હોય ત્યાં સુધી ડેટા જાળવી રખાય છે.
• Anonymous accounts ૩૦ દિવસથી નિષ્ક્રિય: આપોઆપ ડિલીટ.
• Paid subscriptions: છેલ્લા transaction થી ૭ વર્ષ સુધી જાળવી રખાય છે (Income Tax Act, ૧૯૬૧ મુજબ).
• Account ડિલીટ request: ૩૦ દિવસમાં વ્યક્તિગત ડેટા ભૂંસવામાં આવે છે.

૯. બાળકોની ગોપનીયતા

આ એપ ૧૭+ (Mature) rated છે અને માત્ર પુખ્ત વયસ્કો માટે છે. અમે ૧૮ વર્ષ થી નાનાં વ્યક્તિઓ પાસેથી જાણીજોઈને ડેટા એકઠો કરતા નથી.

૧૦. આંતરરાષ્ટ્રીય ડેટા ટ્રાન્સફર

અમારા કેટલાક service providers (દા.ત. Supabase) ડેટા ભારતની બહાર સર્વર્સ પર સંગ્રહિત કરે છે (યુરોપિયન યુનિયન સહિત). અમે Standard Contractual Clauses દ્વારા ખાતરી કરીએ છીએ કે વિદેશમાં પણ તમારા ડેટાને એ જ સુરક્ષા મળે છે જે ભારતમાં મળે છે.

૧૧. આ નીતિ માં ફેરફાર

અમે આ ગોપનીયતા નીતિ માં સમય સમય પર ફેરફાર કરી શકીએ છીએ. મહત્વપૂર્ણ ફેરફારોની જાણ અમે ઓછામાં ઓછા ૭ દિવસ પહેલા એપ અથવા ઇમેઇલ દ્વારા આપીશું.

૧૨. સંપર્ક અને Grievance Officer

જો અમારા જવાબથી તમે સંતુષ્ટ ન હો, તો DPDP એક્ટ ૨૦૨૩ હેઠળ સ્થાપિત Data Protection Board of India ને ફરિયાદ કરી શકો છો.
